Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 25, 2026 (previously April 22, 2026, April 20, 2026, and January 30, 2026)

Health data notice. LVRS FRVR processes information that qualifies as consumer health data under Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar state laws, including mental and behavioral health information, relational wellness signals, and sentiment inferred from your journal entries.

Please also review our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, which applies in addition to this Privacy Policy and governs our collection, use, and sharing of that data.

Global Privacy Control. We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as a valid opt-out of the sale and sharing of personal data under CCPA/CPRA, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, and other applicable state laws. If your browser sends the signal, we automatically treat your visit as an opt-out: advertising and analytics trackers do not load, and authenticated users receive an immutable opt-out record tied to their account.

1. Introduction

Welcome to LVRS FRVR. In this Privacy Policy, "LVRS FRVR," "we," "our," and "us" refer to LVRS FRVR LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company located at 30 N Gould St. Ste. R, Sheridan, WY 82801. LVRS FRVR is a relationship maintenance platform designed to help couples stay connected through daily micro-actions, journaling, and shared experiences.

We understand that relationship data is deeply personal. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our website at lvrsfrvr.com and our mobile applications (collectively, the "Service").

By using LVRS FRVR, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Password (stored securely using bcrypt hashing)
  • Phone number (optional, for SMS notifications)
  • First and last name
  • Birthday (optional)
  • Timezone

2.2 Partner Connection Information

To connect you with your partner, we collect:

  • Partner invite codes
  • Partner email addresses (when you invite them)
  • Relationship start date (optional)
  • Couple pairing data

2.3 Relationship Activity Data

As you use LVRS FRVR, we collect:

  • Daily Spark completions and responses
  • Journal entries and reflections
  • Weekly check-in responses
  • Streak and completion history
  • Love Experience Points (LXP) earned
  • Badges and milestones achieved
  • Freeze token usage

2.4 Sensitive Relationship Content

Your journal entries, reflections, and responses to prompts contain personal relationship information. We treat this data with the highest level of care:

  • Journal entries are only visible to you and your connected partner (when reciprocally shared)
  • We do not read, analyze, or use your personal journal content for advertising
  • This content is stored securely and is never sold to third parties

2.5 Pulse Check Data

During onboarding, you may complete a relationship assessment ("Pulse Check"). This includes:

  • Responses to relationship health questions
  • Communication style preferences
  • Relationship goals

2.6 Health-Cadence Signals

LVRS FRVR offers a small set of one-tap signals so you can keep a record of your own rhythm without writing a journal entry every day. Each is private to you. Your partner never sees these answers.

  • Daily mood check-in. One tap, five labels (Hard, Off, Okay, Good, Great), mapped to a score from 1 to 5. One row per local date. You can change the score any time during the day; the latest answer is what we keep, and the first-tap time is preserved as a record.
  • Monthly Relationship Status Pulse. Once a month, the dashboard offers a one-tap check-in: together, taking a break, discussing separation, separated, or unsure. The card hides for the rest of the month after you tap. You can change the answer mid-month, and the latest answer wins. The pulse exists so a future drift-detection model can ask honest questions about how relationships actually change over time.
  • Self-tagged rupture and repair moments. The heart-pulse button (always available bottom-right inside the app) lets you mark a moment when something felt off, a moment when something felt repaired, or save a private note to your own Private Thoughts. Each tap is a row tied to you, not your couple. Notes saved through this button go to your private journal and are governed by our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

All three signals are per-user. None of them surface to your partner through the product, by email, by push notification, or in any export. If you opt in to anonymized aggregate research (Tier 2), numeric scores or stable category labels from these signals may contribute to research datasets that are projected through our research event stream. Free text never leaves; only numbers and stable labels do, and only after a 50-couple K-anonymity floor is met.

2.7 Payment Information

When you subscribe to LVRS FRVR Premium, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. We receive:

  • Stripe customer ID
  • Subscription status and plan type
  • Billing history and transaction IDs
  • Last four digits of payment method (for display purposes)

2.8 Technical and Usage Data

We automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate location (city/country level)
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages visited and features used
  • Time spent in app
  • Referral source
  • Push notification tokens (for web push)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide the Service: Deliver daily prompts, track your progress, calculate streaks, and enable partner connections
  • Enable Partner Sharing: Allow you and your partner to see each other's journal entries (only when both have completed their own)
  • Send Notifications: Deliver daily reminders, partner completion alerts, and weekly check-in prompts via email, SMS, or push notification based on your preferences
  • Process Payments: Handle subscription billing through Stripe
  • Improve the Service: Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve features (never analyzing individual relationship content)
  • Research and Insights: We may use anonymized, aggregate data to publish research, statistics, and reports about relationship trends. No individual user is ever identifiable in aggregate data. This data may be shared commercially with partners, researchers, or media.
  • Provide Support: Respond to your questions and requests
  • Ensure Security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats
  • Comply with Law: Meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests

4. How Partner Data Sharing Works

LVRS FRVR is designed for couples. When you connect with a partner:

  • Journal Reveals: Your journal entry for a given day becomes visible to your partner only after they complete their own journal for that day. This reciprocal system protects both partners.
  • Completion Status: Your partner can see whether you have completed your daily Spark (not the content of your responses for certain prompt types).
  • Streak Data: Combined streak and LXP data is visible to both partners.
  • Weekly Check-ins: Weekly reflection responses may be shared with your partner as part of the check-in experience.

You control your connection. If you disconnect from a partner, they will no longer have access to your future activity. Past shared data may remain in their account history.

9. Children's Privacy

LVRS FRVR is intended for adults 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA).

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under the applicable age, we will take steps to delete that information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@lvrsfrvr.com.

10. International Data Transfers

LVRS FRVR is operated from the United States. If you are accessing our Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

For EEA, UK, and Swiss users, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and other approved transfer mechanisms to ensure your data receives adequate protection when transferred internationally.

11. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Essential Cookies: Required for the Service to function (authentication, session management)
  • Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how users interact with the Service (Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel). Consent-gated and respect Global Privacy Control.
  • Preference Cookies: Remember your settings (theme, notification preferences)

We do not use cookies for third-party advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

12. Global Privacy Control and Opt-Out Preference Signals

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid consumer opt-out of sale and sharing under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, and similar laws in Colorado, Connecticut, and other states that recognize opt-out preference signals.

When your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat your request as a valid opt-out of any sale or sharing of your personal information. You do not need to submit a separate request. We also detect the signal in our application layer and record it on your account if you are signed in.

You can enable GPC through a supported browser or browser extension. A current list of supported browsers is maintained at globalprivacycontrol.org.

We do not currently respond to older "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals because there is no common industry standard for DNT. We do not track users across third-party websites for advertising purposes regardless of any browser signal.

13. Sensitive Personal Information and Your Right to Limit Its Use

Some of the information you provide through LVRS FRVR qualifies as "sensitive personal information" under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and similar laws. This includes:

  • Journal entries and personal reflections
  • Private Thoughts entries (your private journal space)
  • Pulse Check responses about relationship health
  • Communication style and attachment responses
  • Daily mood check-in scores
  • Monthly Relationship Status Pulse answers
  • Self-tagged rupture and repair moments
  • Inferences about your relationship dynamics drawn from your activity

Primary use only. We use your sensitive personal information only as reasonably necessary to provide the Service you requested, to maintain the quality and safety of the Service, to prevent fraud, and for other purposes expressly permitted by law.

Your Right to Limit. California residents and residents of other jurisdictions that recognize this right have the right to direct LVRS FRVR to limit the use of their sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the Service. You can exercise this right by:

  • Toggling "Limit Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" in Settings (Data Usage section)
  • Submitting a request at lvrsfrvr.com/do-not-sell-or-share
  • Emailing privacy@lvrsfrvr.com with the subject line "Limit SPI Request"

When you exercise this right, we will stop using your sensitive personal information for any purpose beyond core service delivery. This includes opting out of any aggregate research use. You can restore the broader use at any time by toggling the setting back.

14. Notice of Financial Incentive (California Residents)

Under the California Privacy Rights Act, we are required to provide clear notice when different prices or service levels are reasonably related to the value of personal information. LVRS FRVR offers two annual subscription tiers with different pricing and different data practices:

TierAnnual Price (Year 1)Data PracticeResearch Participation
Founding Contributor$119.99Contributes anonymized, aggregated data to LVRS FRVR relationship researchResearch participation (Tier 2 and Tier 3) is a condition of this pricing. To opt out of research, switch to Founding Member.
Founding Member$149.99Full privacy mode, no research contributionResearch participation disabled. Tier 2 and Tier 3 are toggleable anytime with no pricing consequence.

Price Difference

The difference between the two tiers is $30.00 per year. This difference is reasonably related to the estimated value of the anonymized behavioral data contributed by Founding Contributors, which is used only in aggregate form to publish research on relationship health and to support academic and clinical partnerships. We calculate this value based on the marginal research utility of aggregated signals at our current scale, industry benchmarks for anonymized behavioral data licensing, and the operating cost of the research and privacy program.

How to Opt In or Out

Choosing between tiers is entirely your decision. Both tiers provide the full LVRS FRVR product. Neither tier receives any different level of quality or service beyond the data practice described above. You may:

  • Subscribe to either tier at signup
  • Change your research participation status at any time in Settings (Data Usage)
  • Withdraw from research participation and keep your current pricing tier
  • Request deletion of any previously contributed data subject to retention requirements

Your Rights

We will not discriminate against any consumer who exercises their rights under the CPRA. You may withdraw from the financial incentive program at any time. Contact privacy@lvrsfrvr.com with questions about this notice.

15. Affiliated Entities and Love Pulse Labs

LVRS FRVR is part of a corporate family that includes Love Pulse Labs, an affiliated research entity. Love Pulse Labs publishes relationship research, supports academic partnerships, and may license anonymized aggregate datasets to employers, researchers, and clinical partners.

What this means for your data. Your personal information stays with LVRS FRVR. Only data from users who have opted in to Tier 2 research (anonymized, aggregated) or Tier 3 study participation (separately consented) is made available to Love Pulse Labs. This flow is governed by an internal data handling policy. It will be formalized as an intercompany data license once Love Pulse Labs is established as a separate legal entity. The same privacy protections described in this Privacy Policy apply today, including our 50-couple minimum for any aggregate publication and our commitment not to sell personal information.

If you opt out. Turning off Tier 2 research in Settings immediately removes your data from any future aggregation or licensing. Previously published aggregate reports that include only non-identifying statistics may not be recalled, but no individual records follow you out of the research pool.

Love Pulse Labs does not make direct-to-consumer products. You will not receive marketing from Love Pulse Labs. For questions about Love Pulse Labs, contact privacy@lvrsfrvr.com.

16. Washington My Health My Data Act Addendum

If you are a Washington State resident, or if your consumer health data is collected while you are in Washington, the Washington My Health My Data Act (MHMD) provides additional rights. This addendum describes those rights and how LVRS FRVR handles them.

Consumer Health Data We May Process

LVRS FRVR is a relationship wellness tool, not a medical service. However, some of the information we process may qualify as "consumer health data" under MHMD. This can include:

  • Information that identifies your past, present, or future mental or emotional well-being in the context of your relationship
  • Self-reported responses about mood, connection, and relationship satisfaction
  • Inferences derived from the above

How We Use It

We use consumer health data only to provide the Service you requested, to personalize your experience, and, when you have given separate affirmative consent (Tier 2 research), to contribute anonymized aggregate signals to relationship research. We do not sell consumer health data. We do not share consumer health data for targeted advertising.

Your MHMD Rights

  • Right to confirm whether we are processing your consumer health data
  • Right to access your consumer health data
  • Right to withdraw consent for any collection or sharing of consumer health data
  • Right to have your consumer health data deleted
  • Right to appeal a decision we make about your rights request
  • Right to file a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General

How to Exercise These Rights

Email privacy@lvrsfrvr.com with the subject line "Washington MHMD Request." We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, with one 45-day extension if reasonably necessary. If we deny your request, we will explain why and provide clear instructions on how to appeal.

Authorization for Sale or Sharing

We do not sell your consumer health data. If in the future we ever need to do so, we will obtain your separate written authorization that meets MHMD requirements before any sale occurs.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page
  • Notify you via email or in-app notification
  • For significant changes, we may ask for your renewed consent

Your continued use of the Service after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

18. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or want to exercise your rights, contact us:

Email: privacy@lvrsfrvr.com

Subject Line: "Privacy Request"

We will respond to requests within 30 days (or sooner as required by applicable law).

  • Identifiers (name, email, phone number, IP address)
  • Commercial information (subscription history)
  • Internet activity (usage data, device information)
  • Inferences (relationship health indicators based on activity)

Sensitive Personal Information

We collect journal entries and relationship reflections, which may contain sensitive information. This data is used only to provide the Service and is never sold or shared for advertising.

LVRS FRVR does not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

By using LVRS FRVR, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
